You meet someone new, but fall for the same trap. Different person, different outlook and struggles. Ambitious, charismatic individuals, with idiosyncrasies you can obsess over.

The idea stays the same. You let them inhabit every pore of your thought. You plant the seed, then wait patiently. Watch it grow with joy and pleasure, watching a hope grow. Bursting like a new plant, forming buds and turning into blossoms.

  • From the Letters, 007/019
    — This is an error in a matrix, a déjà vu, this is not happening yet, this is a scene from the room in Florence — It was a spacious room with Art Deco stucco, high ceilings, and dark parquet floors. It had several French doors with tiny balconies. This was to accommodate her inner decadent princess. Duchess, to be precise, after all we are in the context of Florence.     Hong Kong was a synonym for cinema and hyperdensity. Cage homes, Dim Sum, old belief and new ambition. The topics felt like a stimulating opening scene of a lengthy journey. Cultural fluidity was shaped by the colonial past, geographic boundaries with limited flat areas, and the hybrid identity of East and West.

    Visiting indigenous communities on the world’s highest navigable lake offered insight into isolated rural ways of life. Each community has preserved its unique socio-political and ethnic heritage.
  • Andean Altiplano
    Upon entering the cradle of the Inca, one gains not only 3800 meters above sea level, but also altitude sickness. To reach the treks’ starting points, there were usually a couple of hours on the road first. While driving through the highlands, your mind would start to synchronise with the colour palettes of distant mountain ranges.
